      Was reminded of the Latin version of 'Physician, heal thyself' - Medici, cura te ipsum. Tried to get some connection. No success.

      Another word that fits there is GEMINI. Does not agree with definition.

    Some more on math note:

    Since there are many engineers and mathematics experts in this forum, this might be of interest to them.

      Just went through it. I use a similar system called The Trachtenburg system of speed mathematics for long multiplications. When younger, I could manage 6 digit number x 6 digit numbers (many can even do it with 9 digit ones), but presently I can do only 4 digit numbers as my concentration is not what it was. That method eliminates all the intermediate steps written in long multiplication and gives the last line straight away.

      A typical Kishore enigma. First I kept scratching my head why the abacus cartoon contained the words from another clue.

      There is a hint of no. 100 in the cartoon, obviously to commemorate Arden's 100th presentation. And the reference to caviar and champagne is to celebrate.

      Talking of champagne, here is one for the fans of the old-time, indomitable villain of Bollywood.

      A gaddaar was caught and brought before Ajit by his henchmen for leaking the secrets.

      When asked, Is ke saath kya sulook kiya jaaye, baas?', Ajit answers in his usual style and tenor:

      'Usko champagne ke talab mein duba doh. Agar 'shame' nahin toh 'pain' mein toh hi mar jaayega'.

    Noted cinematographer-director Balu Mahendra (Balanathan Benjamin Mahendran) passed away in Chennai this morning. RIP.

    Remember his Hindi movie, Sadma, a remake from Tamil, which starred Kamal Haasan and Sridevi.
