    1. Nope, Ursula Andress was wearing a bikini, not a one-piece.

My blogger functionality is not permitting me to upload pictures at present due to unknown reasons. DG will do the needful for 16a.

    3. Everyone must have thought 'Thank God it's Friday'.

Possibly Kishore's computer refused to accept the post in view of the ramifications of 19A. When there was a discussion on this 'atoll' you-know-what here some time ago, I had quoted what had read somewhere that they were of three kinds, bik..., monok.. and oh-no-k....

  8. Kishore: Malaya in Kiswahili is a strumpet (milder term?) Similarly, Schule in German --isn't it a school--as in Kiswalhili too? However, please desist using this in Kannada or Tulu?

Miriam Makeba was my favourite too and her Pata Pata was made equally famous in India by Usha Mami Uthup.

In the first frame, you can see the aircraft wing. I have a similar photo in which I shot Mt Kilimanjaro from the air (entroute from Nairobi to Mombasa) and the wing is visible.

  9. Felt 'Jambo Bwana' by Safari Sound Band was better than the one sung by Boney M. What a lilting song so lively and lovely !!
