  26. I am not sure how many make a theme in a Jumbo of this size, but

    15a, 18a,33a 42a, 46a, 9d, 19d, 23d, 34d seem to tell a story of their own.

      But seriously, getting in late has other difficulties too. There were so many solutions already posted, that I had to first complete the puzzle and then mark off all those answers which were already posted. An elephantine task in itself in such a Jumbo puzzle. By the time I did that and posted, I found that one post had come in the interregnum and I had a duplicate...

    3. Actually, you can look at it in another way. It is not you who got the crumbs. Anyways, you did get to solve the entire puzzle if you did not look at earlier answers. What you can drop here are some crumbs ...

    4. I usually solve the puzzle ( unless I am in very early ) before I post my quota. So as far as solving the puzzle, the joy is the same whether I get to see it early or late.

  31. Painstaking to fill in this Jumbo. However, found Acrosslite to be very useful, though one can develop an eyestrain !! Wild elephant tamed !! Thanks Arden for enlivening our holiday without newspapers.
