      I am also seeing it now only. Checked my records. I find it as ' eight red roses' with eight for e. I have copied a wrong one when I made the Acrosslite version. :(

      Yes, it is wrong grammatically. But for the correct answer 'it' would not have suited . Nonetheless it is my mistake.

    Too late to submit my choices of three. However, the clues were well formulated. Didn't like REREDOES and SHRUG, as they are too weak as clues.

    I like the way the online solving is made easy by the system which should be adpopted for daily ones too .
    Can some one here annotate for me as to why it should be DIABETICS out of :Do acerbic men escape this condition? (9)

      Raju don't know why u think those 2 are weak. But you are entitled to have such an opinion :) my take on the other one was, acerbic was bitter, hence diabetics.
