  1. The HINDUs couldn't care less attitude towards CWs is unfortunate. Last week the CW didn't carry the name of the setter and today the CW itself is missing from the unpaid online paper.

    1. I don't think it is intentional. I expect the CW to appear soon in the unpaid online paper, may be tomorrow itself.

  2. Obviously The Hindu wants everyone to apy up and get a hard copy. Is free on line only for name sake?

A nice start as usual (27Ac) from Sankalak. This time I got 'floored' by 'Tamahi' and hence a few holes in that corner. Tried carpet and got nowhere.

    1. @ Padmanabhan.I can see that you continue to be floored. The word is TATAMI and not TAMAHI.

    2. I remember your mentioning it once earlier- one fills such words in a CW and forgets, well, almost. That is, till you get floored again:-)

  6. There's a certain joy in getting Sankalak's 1As which is unparalleled ( I always look first at the first across clue, hence the observation). Really nice opener, looking forward to this run.

  7. The IPad app is not working for the past week or so. And I don't find the app listed in ITunes either.
