DeleteCurious Question : For yesterday's special did the setters work independently with their set of clues or was it all done together. If they had all worked independently it would be fun to guess the setter based on the clue. ( i.e a kind of 'how well do you know your setter' contest )

DeleteYes Ramesh. I agree with you. I did not spot it until I saw the blog. Still had a doubt about plurals and after verification found that plural of Doe could either be 'Doe' or 'Does', but plural of deer ib only deer!

:) Thanks. Arden & CV were easier to spot ( Gin gave Arden away, Gas had the CV stamp). The toss up was between Buzzer & Shuchi ( I hope I got the spelling right this time ). I have never had a chance to attempt a Shuchi crossword, so I had no idea about her style. It is just luck that the guess turned out to be right.
DeleteGetting the hang of scintillator's style much better each time around. Picked most of the clues fairly easily today, "does" being one of the few exceptions (definitely My COD)
