  14. Going with Kishore's answers for 19 - WAITRESS and 23 - DARTS which do sound like they are correct, I have these:

    26D A mountain range (4) TIER

    Tier (n) : A mountain range (Tasmania)

    29 - Term of abuse heat in gallery (7) TR(IRE)ME*

    It must be a printer's devil or devil's print of GALLERY for GALLEY

    @Vijay

    6 Race types ostentatiously exhibit marks of injury (6,4)

    Race types = def = sports cars

    ostentatiously exhibit = sport
    marks of injury = scars

  20. Great, Bhavan. Quite a few Australian references in this run of MM's, huh?

    ReplyDelete
  21. And isn't it poetic justice that Tier mountains are in Tasmania south east of Australia and also appear in the SE quarter of the grid which proved troublesome.
