  1. 6 I'm unfortunately turned over by trick, a computer fraud (6,9) - {SALA}{M'I} {TECHNIQUE}

    Reversal indicator <- for turned over is to be added.
    {(SALA)(M'I)<-} {TECHNIQUE}

  2. 13 - Literary character, jumping bail, put in prison (7) - {CA{LIBA*}N}

    Can also be {C{ALIB*}AN}

    The first time I heard of the Taliban, I remembered this character from The Tempest

    BASKET CASE reminded of schooldays, where we had learnt our first pejorative BLOODY BASKET !

  4. Ajeesh, the reversal indicator 'turned over' is for the "I'm alas" as

    Hence, using extra brackets, the anno is:

    {(SALA)(M'I)}<- {TECHNIQUE}

    23 - Fruit = Definition = {B}{UTTER}{NUT} {SQUASH}
    British = B
    head = NUT
    dropped into = Insertion indicator
    perfect = UTTER
    drink = SQUASH
