    Gridman seems to have used other words also connected with government a la Neyartha:

    Catnap ;-)
    Votive (really devoted?)
    Mask (Mukhota in Hindi )
    Wave (in election)
    Wooer (during elections)
    Alderman
    Despot (infinite number of them)
    Gone (after the election)
    Etc...

    1d - Ionic or Doric are ancient Greek dialects or styles of architecture according to the dictionaries I have been able to lay my hands on. Not sure how you derive 'Column' from it.
